The Silver Horse
The prize for online journalism and social media
Since 2018, the prestigious media prize "The Silver Horse", which is traditionally awarded at the CHIO Aachen by "Deutscher Reiter- und Fahrerverband e.V. (DRFV) (the German Rider and Driver Association) together with the Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein e.V. (ALRV), is being advertised as an online award.
This award honors the best “online contribution” from the past year. Equestrian sports journalism has also changed and now uses completely new and exciting digital formats. This fascinating sport becomes even more lively, even more up-to-date and even more personal. “The Silver Horse” was launched by Kurt Capellmann and Count Leopold von Rothkirch.
Who can participate?
Individual posts and entries as well as entire websites or overarching concepts can be proposed. Onliners, bloggers, journalists and influencers, as well editorial offices, athletes, organisers, sponsors, etc. are eligible to participate.
The author, the responsible person, several authors or a group/editorial team can subsequently be distinguished.
The creativity, quality, user involvement, target group affinity and relevance are assessed.
