vaulting
The vaulters are true artists on horseback. They seem to almost effortlessly complete a host of acrobatic exercises on the back of a cantering horse. The competitions are divided up into individual classifications, pas de deux and team classifications, in the course of the latter, between two and three people can be seen dancing on the horse at once. As in the dressage discipline, the vaulters have to convince the judges in compulsory and freestyle tests.
