A visit to the riding master and Olympic gold medallist Ingrid Klimke
Full speed! That is the speed at which Ingrid Klimke is usually on the move. With three individual victories, she is the record champion in the SAP Cup at the CHIO Aachen and a great role model for many riders. She not only took a lot of time for the digital CHIO Aachen Magazine, but also brought along her daughter Greta and her mother Ruth.
The magazine will be available on the CHIO Aachen YouTube channel on Sunday evening at 7 pm. The CHIO Aachen’s social media team visited the riding champion in Münster. And perhaps even more exciting than the question of what Ingrid told: What do daughter Greta and mother Ruth – who rummaged through the old photo albums especially for the magazine – reveal about Ingrid? And what does groom Carmen Thiemann, recently awarded “Groom of the Year” by the FEI, the World Equestrian Federation, say? And why does Ingrid still think back to a fall in Aachen in 1973 – with extremely positive thoughts, by the way. And what does Lieselott Linsenhoff have to do with it? The answers can be found tomorrow evening, Sunday from 7 pm onwards, in the “CHIO Aachen Magazine digital” on the CHIO Aachen Youtube channel.
