50 years of Aachener Reitturnier GmbH (ART): From a courageous vision to a driver of success
Aachener Reitturnier GmbH (ART) is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year – half a century over the course of which it has decisively shaped and further developed the CHIO Aachen together with the Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein (ALRV), which was founded 125 years ago. What was initiated in 1975 as a courageous vision of the ALRV to found an own marketing agency for the CHIO, is an internationally acclaimed institution today, which stands for creativity, innovative power and passion. On founding the ART, the organisation and marketing of the CHIO Aachen was given a professional standing for the first time – a milestone that sustainably raised the event to a new level.
As the exclusive marketing agency of the CHIO Aachen, the ART builds a bridge between sport, business and urban society. It ensures that the reach of the World Equestrian Festival extends far beyond the region. The tasks of the ART, i.e. winning over new business partners, serving existing customers and developing innovative marketing concepts are reasons why the CHIO Aachen, which attracts around 350,000 spectators annually, sets sporting, economic and organisational standards.
The current anniversary and the sustainable success are attributable to the dedicated service of all the employees of the ART, who, with their courage, passion and foresight, have turned the CHIO Aachen into Germany’s largest sporting event together with the ALRV team. “It is lovely to see how they all tirelessly strive to further develop the CHIO Aachen,” emphasised Stefanie Peters, President of the ALRV. “For us, this anniversary is both motivation and an obligation to carry on writing the success story together,” added Michael Mronz, General Manager of the ART.
