This wall is 2,32 meters high. The two show jumpers Willibert Mehlkopf (GER) and Willi Melliger (SUI) jumped it with their horses here in Aachen in 1985 and established a new record.
You can visit the museum for free and explore the emotional history of CHIO Aachen.
You can find lots of personal belongings of world-famous equestrians in the museum – for e.g. the riding boots of Hans Günter Winkler and also this dressage outfit of Josef Neckermann.

In 2007, one of the most successful show jumpers of all time, Hans Günter Winkler and ALRV-President consul Klaus Peter Pavel opened the CHIO Aachen-Museum.
This is the suitcase of Hans Heinrich Isenbart, CHIO Aachen stadium announcer from 1954 to 2004. You can find it in the museum.
Of course you can also get to see the equipment of world-famous horses, such as this saddle from Rembrandt or also the one of Halla.
