Programme TSCHIO
FIRST-CLASS SPORT IN A UNIQUE ATMOSPHERE IN MAY 2026
Aachen – for equestrian sport fans worldwide, this is synonymous with great emotions, thrilling sport and an unmistakable atmosphere. A very special event awaits you next year: The ‘TSCHIO’ 2026 will exceptionally take place in May and will bring top international riders in show jumping and, for the first time, para-dressage to the Soers. ‘TSCHIO’ – that’s what the people of Aachen affectionately call their CHIO in their down-to-earth dialect. A name that expresses a sense of home, tradition and the unique community surrounding the World Equestrian Festival.
In sporting terms, the ‘TSCHIO’ 2026 will set new standards: On 24th May, the traditional Rolex Grand Prix will take centre stage, accompanied by other top-class competitions and exciting competitions for young horses. A special highlight will be the premiere of the para-dressage on the big stage in Aachen – with emotion-packed freestyle decisions on the final Sunday.
The side events also promise magical moments: The concert ‘Horse & Symphony’ on May 23rd combines spectacular horse shows, artistry and the moving live music of the Aachen Symphony Orchestra.
Save the date: CHIO Aachen 2027, June 25th to July 4th
