Victory for the favourites in the Lambertz Nations Cup
Ultimately, everything took on its usual course: The German dressage team celebrated its 39th triumph in the Lambertz Nations Cup. Very much to the joy of the national coach: “Especially when everyone is expecting you to win, you really have to perform,” stated Monica Theodorescu.
The German team comprising of Isabell Werth/Quantaz, Jessica von Bredow-Werndl/Ferdinand BB, Frederic Wandres/Duke of Britain and Carina Scholz/Tarantino won the Lambertz Nations Cup on a total score of 22 points. Frederic Wandres was overjoyed: “It has always been my childhood dream to be on a photo in the prize-giving together with Isabell. So, I am very proud today!”
Second place went to the Dutch team with a score of 40 points: Vincent van Gasselt with Delacroix, Denise Nekeman with Boston, Thamar Zweistra on Hexagon’s Ich Weiß and Dinja van Liere with Hermes.
They were followed by the British team in third place on 47 points: Susan Pape and Harmony’s Eclectisch, Fiona Bigwood with Hawtin’s Delicato, Lara Butler on Kristjan and Charlotte Fry riding Dark Legend.
