Influencers and selfie spots
Manga wall and anamorphosis: Exciting new features at the CHIO Aachen 2021
Seven “selfie spots” will be set up in different locations around the showgrounds, where the show visitors can take or have photographs of themselves taken amid in some cases spectacular environments and against extraordinary backgrounds. Those, who then link the photos correctly (@chio_aachen) and post them on Instagram, can furthermore win exciting prizes in the scope of the prize-draw presented by our partner Shiseido. In some cases, the selfie spots are being designed by renowned artists. For example, Philipp Wallisfurth also known as “Señor Schnu” has created an “Anamorphosis”, a 3D room in the Hugo Cadenbach-Allee opposite the Mercedes-Benz exhibition area, which will be the most spectacular motif this year. In line with this year’s partner country, Japan, the illustrator Lisa Santrau has designed a large-format manga motif measuring 3 x 3 metres. (@lian_illustration).
The organisers have decided to refrain from staging the popular Blogger Lounge this year in order to avoid large, unnecessary gatherings of people caused by the “meet & greet” activities with well-known influencers. However, the social media stars will of course be on-site and will have time for their fans – and will report about the CHIO Aachen 2021. Among others, Jesse Drent (Instagram: @_jessedrent / YouTube: Jesse Drent), Farina Yari (@_novalanalove), Anita Ableidinger (@anita_girlietainment_official / Anita Girlietainment), Lia Beckmann (@liaundalfi / Lia & Alfi), Marina and Julia Schuster (@marina_und_die_ponys / Marina und die Ponys), Lea Schirdewahn (@leasponyteam / HeyHorse TikTok: HeyLea), Harrison Ashton (@harrisonashton1 / TikTok: harrisonashton6) and many other influencers will be reporting directly from the CHIO Aachen.
