Bella Rose on the Walk of Fame
A “Walk of Fame” is reserved for the absolute stars. This applies on both the Sunset Boulevard as well as at the Aachen Soers. Whereby here in Aachen, at the CHIO, the wall is reserved exclusively for the horses. The horseshoes of famous horses are embedded into the floor for eternity, instead of hand prints. A horseshoe of Hans Günter Winkler’s wonder horse, “Halla” is immortalised here, together with one of Ludger Beerbaum’s “Goldfever” in addition to one of “Totilas’” horseshoes. The most important pre-requisite for conquering a place on the hero mile in Aachen: Winning the Rolex Grand Prix, Deutsche Bank Prize or SAP-Cup at the CHIO Aachen. On Sunday, a spectacular newcomer joined the ranks on the Walk of Fame: A horseshoe of Isabell Werth’s “Bella Rose” took its place next to the other four-legged legends. The best rider in the world placed the plaque with the horseshoe into the floor in Aachen personally. “Bella deserved that,” Isabell Werth beamed.
