60 Mercedes-Benz for the CHIO Aachen
Very soon everything will revolve around horses and horsepower again at the Aachen Soers. The World Equestrian Festival, CHIO Aachen, namely kicks off in three days’ time. Mercedes-Benz has been a partner of the CHIO since 1954 and the traditional brand with a star will be guaranteeing a high-class chauffeur service for athletes and guests again this year.
60 vehicles will be available to ensure the smooth running of the transport logistics. Matthias Hindemith, Director of Mercedes-Benz Rhineland Sales Division, handed over the vehicles to Stefanie Peters, the President of the Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein e.V. (ALRV), the event organisers. “The entire team of Mercedes-Benz is looking forward to the event and to keeping the CHIO Aachen mobile,” stated Hindemith, who announced a fleet comprising of “very many electric and hybrid vehicles”. The ALRV President was also delighted about this: “Together with Mercedes-Benz we continually find ways to carry on writing the history of the show, which is more sustainable than ever this year,” commented Peters.
