    Jumping Competition with one round and one winning round

    - Jumping competition with 1 round and a winning round
    - Only for horses that are not competing in S6, the ROLEX Grand Prix
    - The 10 best riders from the first round, or alternatively all riders that jumped clear in the first round, qualify for the winning round
    - In the winning round the competitors all start with zero penalties
    - The competitor with the least penalties and the fastest time in the winning round is the winner
    - Height of the obstacles up to 1.55 metres
    - Duration of the competition: approx. 1.5 hours

    Historic carriages

    They are going to be the secret stars of the "World Equestrian Festival Aachen 2015": 25 traditional carriages from German, Belgium and the Netherlands. The magnificent horses and carriages will be driving around the showgrounds and the City of Aachen in the scope of the "Concours d`Elegance presented by the Tesch Family".

    Jump & Drive

    Combined jumping and driving competition

    - A team comprises of one driver and one show-jumper
    - The rider starts first and has to complete a course of 8 obstacles
    - After the last obstacle, the rider dismounts, hands the horse over to a groom and jumps on the carriage
    - The driver then has to complete an obstacle course with the rider on the carriage
    - The team with the fastest time wins, obstacle penalties are converted into 4 penalty seconds
    - Duration of the competition: approx. 30 minutes

    A tradition since 1953: The emotional closing ceremony of the World Equestrian Festival.
    Accompanied by the sounds of the German folk song "Muss I denn" and waving with white handkerchieves, participants and spectators say good-bye to each other.

    - The riders are divided up into groups à 5 riders based on their ranking in D1. The order in the respective groups is drawn by lot. The group with the best placed riders (in D1) compete last.

    The competitors, who were placed 15th-11th (in D1), compete first. Followed by the competitors, who were placed 10th-6th (in D1) and finally those competitors, who were placed 5th-1st (in D1).

    - Duration of the competition: approx. 3 hours
