CHIO Aachen 2010: The heart winners
The winners of the airberlin Fan Awards powered by 100`5 das hitradio have been announced – great prizes for CHIO visitors too
They are the true champions of the World Equestrian Festival, CHIO Aachen 2010: Marcus Ehning (show-jumping), Nadine Capellmann (dressage), Ingrid Klimke (eventing), Christoph Sandmann (driving) and Kai Vorberg (vaulting) triumphed in the airberlin Fan Award powered by 100`5 das hitradio. This publicly voted prize is not decided by the athletes‘ sporting performance, but by their charisma and likeable personalities alone. Many thousands of spectators in Aachen, who are well-known for their expert knowledge of the sport and unbiased opinions, took part in the voting.
The CHIO visitors also had a chance to win prizes too: Petra Meyer from Cologne took first prize – a return flight to Dubai with airberlin for two persons. Barbara Schneider from Lübtheen won two CHIO Aachen tickets (VIP cards for the Mercedes Benz Prize, Part of the Meydan FEI Nations Cup) for next year’s event. And two tickets for the Apassionata Show in Cologne’s LANXESS arena, on April 9th, 2011 went to Rolf Tabellion from Hückelhoven.
